 Beginners Spanish (Level 1)

Let the journey begin… On this 12-week course, you will get to grips with the basics of español. Whether that´s ordering at the bar, buying a bus ticket or introducing yourself to new amigos, this course is all about giving you the confidence to start speaking in real-life scenarios.

In our sessions you will learn how to :

• pronounce tricky sounds we don’t have in English!

• talk about yourself when meeting new people and ask them questions about their life and culture 

• express likes and dislikes, make choices and to agree or disagree with others 

•  discuss your future plans  

• order food and drink like a local not a textbook…

• reserve accomodation and check in at a hostel, AirBnB or hotel

• chat about the weather (the classic!)

Spanish on a Plate (Level 2) 

Know your pintxos from your pulpo? Your tacos from your tostadas? On this 12 week journey, we’ll be digging deep into the cookbooks of Spanish-speaking countries around the world and getting to know some of London’s Latino street food traders… By the end of the course, you’ll be able to chat freely about all things food & drink and even make a margarita en español!

*This course is suitable for anyone who has completed our Beginners course or pre-intermediate learners who have taken a course/studied regularly for at least 3 months.

In our sessions you will learn how to :

• improve your grammar and speaking skills by sharing stories in the past using a range of tenses 

• immerse yourself in the culture – from boosting your reading comprehension with articles to following a  wine tasting and margarita making session in Spanish 

•  tune your ear and be an active listener when watching a Netflix series and real world videos

 Intermediate Spanish (Level 3) 

Ready for the next adventure? Over the next 12 weeks, you’ll put your language skills to the test by immersing yourself in authentic content from the Spanish-speaking world. From TED Talks and podcasts to short films to salsa songs, you will be able to understand and chat about a range of subjects on the spot.

In our sessions you will learn how to :

• express your opinion on authentic material we look at

•  master spontaneous speech

• extend your vocabulary and use local slang and idioms

• crack the subjunctive tenses

Spanish for Travelling  (All levels – bespoke)

• get around your destinations and use public transport 

•  order food and drink and ask for local recommendations

• reserve accomodation and book activities and excursions

• chat about your trip so far and future plans 

• put your speaking skills to practice with guest visit to our class from one of the destinations we learn about
